The ability to listen to my body and know when I can push harder, I should take an active rest day, when I should change up my programming. It took many years to learn and was more difficult than any PR and I am so grateful for it.

Crossfit Level 1 Certification, Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner

About Coach

I grew up in Massachusetts and found my way to Colorado in 2019. I have always enjoyed being active from backyard obstacle courses (thanks dad) to playing soccer, lacrosse and running track. During college, I got into running and trained for several half-marathons but something was missing. After college, I started Crossfit looking for a community and a good workout. The love was immediate.

Turning Point

Throughout the years, my Crossfit journey has helped me to grow as an athlete and a person. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone, allowed me to meet some of my best friends, taught me when I need to take a step back and listen to my body and most importantly (to me) taught me the importance of nutrition and movement together. I wanted to continue to share these lesson with others so in 2018, I got my Crossfit Level 1 Certification and went through an intern program at Reach Athletics in Massachusetts. After coaching for a while, I decided that I was most impactful working with others on their health and wellness so I went back to school through the Nutritional Therapy Association and became a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Now, I get to do what I love everyday.

Motivation & Passion

I love watching people grow and learn what they and their bodies are capable of. I believe the gym is more than just a place to get fit. It is a place to facilitate self-growth, community, friendships and health. As a coach, it is so rewarding when I get to help facilitate that environment. I am, without a doubt, more excited when an athlete gets a PR than when I get one myself.
